Unremarkable. feels like it could be a chain. Not bad and not good. BEIGE!

The appetizers were GREAT & SUPER REASONABLE because we made it just in time for HAPPY HOUR!!! Also, 2-for-1 drinks during that time for those who drink. I had the lobster tacos.... tasted good but overly priced and had such a small amount of lobster that I would have believed you if you told me it were shrimp. My boyfriend ordered the skirt steak tacos and had to send them back because the steak was raw.It is VERY rare for him to complain, so I knew they had to be pretty disappointing. While we won't return for dinner... we have considered going back for happy hour appetizers and some drinks.

I learned about Longboards through work. Considering I literally work across the street, its pretty convenient to go for lunch or more specifically Happy Hour! Great location right on Clematis in downtown West Palm Beach. Its really cute, as there are longboards everywhere... like a little wharf. Love the ambiance, and decor. So, let me begin with lunch. Food is actually pretty good. I've tried the lobster mac and cheese. Pretty darn tasty. Very creamy, and good chunks of lobster. They have kettle chips with what seems like seasoned salt (tastes like celery salt) which I found to be delicious! Friends have said that the ahi tuna salad is pretty tasty as well. I've had their soups, which were good. So, the food in itself is worth the visit. And every thursday my co-workers and I go for Happy Hour. The bartenders are awesome and kind of know most of us by know and the drink we like. They give you pretzel bread which is super yummy. Highly recommend that. Overall, its a really fun and cute place to go. I really like it and would recommend to anyone.

My god this was not as good as they rated it. All the sides here were well over fried and the crab cake was the worst crab cake I had ever encounter. Too add on top of that manager here was rude as hell and refused to take off the crab cake that i didn't eat..... Over all poor food poor service .

I for the most part always have great service. The drinks are good, the food and great service. Ask for Ryan Reed when you go. The best server in the spot. Highly professional. Always remembers his customers. And always has a smile. He is awesome.

At first it was shaky, but it turned out pretty well. Last night, my girlfriend and I stopped by and wanted to use our $40 for $22 groupon. We were quickly seated and the waitress saw us right away. Put in an order for drinks and the Bacon Mac n Cheese. It wasn't until 25 minutes later we flagged her down finally and asked about the drinks. It upset me. The joint wasn't busy at all and she forgot about us. They recovered! Management came over and comped our drinks and apologized incessantly. I appreciate that! I had the buffalo fish sliders and she had the broiled snapper. It was pretty good. Not great, but good. At reasonable prices, I was pleased.

Okay...I've been here 3 times. Excellent menu, excellent drink specials... Hence the repeated business. The first time I took my husband for his birthday. Had a decent experience, even though the fresh Maine lobster was a bit chewy everything else was really good. A few months later we returned for an early dinner. The waitress this time was really, Kinda snobby and made us feel like we were an inconvenience to her. So after we finished our cocktails we decided to go elsewhere for dinner. We didn't go back for probably a good year because of this. We finally decided to to give it another shot... After all this one girl was not Likely to still be there. This was pretty recent, around the time of the World Cup. USA was playing and downtown was a little rowdy. Long boards was a little busy but there were a few empty tables. It was around 8 o'clock at night and when we walked in, it took awhile for the hostess to seat us, but she was friendly so no big deal. Our waitress took awhile to even greet us and she said she'd be with us shortly. About 10 minutes passed and the waitress came by to set down some waters and said again she'd be with us shortly. She then went to check on another table, was cleaning, had a conversation with the hostess, meanwhile we finished our water and still hadn't placed any drink orders. Nothing, for 20-25 minutes. Finally when the hostess passed we asked if we could place some orders. She assured us our waitress would be right over. After another 5 or so minutes we asked to speak with a manager. When he came out we tried to explain the situation and his response was.."we were unexpectedly busy because if the World Cup...we're not a soccer place so I don't know what you expect us to do." We said we understood but it's been 30 minutes and all we have is two empty glasses of water. He then said "well I'm here now... So do you want to place an order or do you just want to go somewhere else " We were pretty outraged by this guy who was apparently in charge. We decided yet again to get up and leave after being seated. I will never ever ever again return to this place with horrible customer service ( or lack there of)

My husband and I first discovered this place from using Groupon We are so happy that we tried this place out. The waiter was extremely knowledgeable about all items on the menu. If you ever visit, you must the mac and cheese! It is amazing!

We stopped in for dinner but my friend really wanted a steak so we had appetizers instead. We had a dozen raw oysters and eat and peel shrimp steamed with beer. The food was good had we arrived earlier we would have enjoyed oysters for 1.25 a piece but we paid 1.75 each which wasn't a bad price. The peel and eat shrimp were 9 dollars for 1/2 lb. This place has a side walk patio but we moved inside due to the rain. The server was very nice and prompt. I would return to this restaurant.

A bit pricey, but it's worth it. A great selection of seafood and more. Catch of the day has a huge variety, and they offer various ways for the fish to be cooked. Perfect times to go are between 5-7 daily for happy hour and Tuesdays for all you can eat snow crab. Perfect if you want to go out for date night, or meet up with friends.

Had a great time here for Sunday Brunch. The Server was friendly and very accommodating. Food was excellent and the all you can drink Bellini's a great deal. Staff is very professional and went out of their way to help. I'll be back

Great place for seafood. One of our favorite spots downtown. Oysters are the best..always a few different choices. The wings and Mac and cheese are two other favorites. Happy hour specials are great...I just wish when they had the band (a fun hipster band! I like the vibe) it wasn't quite so loud. When they play you essentially cannot converse. I wish they would notice how many people leave when the music starts. Other than that we love having this place nearby.

Longboards is a good place if your looking for something casual and laid-back with a good atmosphere. The food was good, we ordered the fresh oysters which were good and the smoked fish dip which everyone seemed to love. They have a pretty good selection of food on their menu and all the staff is very friendly. If I lived closer to clematis street then this could be my go to spot for happy hour!!!

Brunch on Sundays is amazing. Our friend got the unlimited mimosas and he loved them. I got the French toast and everyone on the table loved it. We will definitely come back for brunch again. :)

I love the atmosphere of this place, plus just this side if Clematis street in general, but the brunch on a Sunday really needs some work. We stopped here on our way to Sunfest, figuring that it would be as busy as our other brunch spot (Wine Dive). Surprisingly it was not busy and we got seated immediately. The waitress was very friendly but this is where my three star rating starts. Even through I joked about it being Sunday, repeating it twice, I still got bacon with an order. If you love bacon, you would have loved the portion size. Unfortunately, not eating any meat, especially bacon, this was a no no. So we send the food back and all they did was take off the bacon. All the oil was still all over the home fries and eggs, so again it went back. At this point, I was not going to send the food back a third time, it's only brunch, but the eggs were all wrong as well. My wife and I order our eggs a little different, but got something in between in both orders, burned whites with semi hard yolks. We've had the crab Benedict before and it was good, but as far as brunch, we will pass this place since there are many better options around with greater selection in brunch items as well.

Worst experience I have had in a long time. Drinks we're terrible, food was forgotten and (I timed it) it took one hour and one minute to get WATER. It only took 5 times asking. Food was a 6/10 but service was absolutely absurd. Not coming back and suggest you steer clear.

Decent, not great. Server was average. I ordered the catch of the day and chose a side salad and sweet potato fries to accompany the fist. The portion was kind of small for the price although they did give me a hefty portion of fries. Calamari was very good for an appetizer. The soda's come in small bottles so I have a feeling they don't offer free refills but I didn't ask so I don't know for sure. It's got that surver-dude feel t it with a way ladiback vibe; however, the restaurant was empty whch usually isn't a good sign. It was a Monday night so maybe the lack of customers (and the rain) had to do with that. Average all the way around.

Nice place. Chairs, however, are horrible and very uncomfortable. Great happy hour with $5 drinks and apps. A variety of apps were order: conch fritters had big pieces of conch, Polynesian wings were lightly sweet, big and juicy, truffle parmesan fries were yummy, clam chowder was creamy with fresh clams in shell and lobster Tacos were loaded with meat. The pineapple and ice cream is served in half a pineapple and it was sooooo good. Our sever RJ was great. Will def go again.

Whether I visit Longboards for their Happy Hour (5pm to 7pm) or for late night fun, it's guaranteed a fantastic time. Their Happy Hour menu has awesome buy one get one drink specials and $5 bites (which are far more than just a little bite). My go-to order is the crab cake which comes with a small mixed greens salad with tomato and cucumber. My other favorite indulgence is the tuna appetizer, it's a beautiful stack of tuna, cucumbers, avocado and pineapple with a side of plantain chips -delish!!! The favorite of my boyfriend is the turkey club, fresh carved turkey like Thanksgiving Day, avocado, tomato, lettuce... the club can really be customized to any palate. Longboards recently revamped their outside patio area with outdoor dining and new landscaping. There is also a vintage Airstream trailer on the back patio that has been custom fitted with dining tables! My ONLY suggestion for the patio is to put the garden hose in a nice looking planter or clay pot, it's a bit of an eye sore rolled up in the corner. Buy hey, the new hibiscus and marygolds need watering. About their staff... they could not be any friendlier or helpful! I'm pretty sure I've met every bartender and server there, they're always in great moods and deliver the drinks and meals with a smile! To close just four words... Bacon Macaroni and Cheese!

Trendy spot with a nice CA surfer feel to it. Attentive service. It all falls apart with the food though. The flatbread looked and tasted like a cheap frozen pizza not worthy of a lunchbox. The mahi tacos had no flavor or kick to them. This was the second mediocre dining experience here. May go back for drinks but never again for food.

I'm from Chicago, visiting my Dad. If you are anywhere near downtown West Palm Beach, you HAVE to stop by for Happy Hour! $1 oysters(all kinds) and great appetizers. Amanda, our server was simply amazing. Cant wait for my next trip, not for dad(sorry dad), but for the oysters.

This place was a great find! It has a really kitschy look & feel, serves cute glass bottle sodas, fresh lemonade, great blackened mahi tacos + lobster Mac, and creative+delicious old school cocktails. Super strong though, I thought I was good with two, nope. Great vibe all around+ nice decor. Friendly and prompt service. I would be a regular here if I lived close. Great presentation of all dishes. Fish & chips served In a literal bucket and that was adorable.

Excellent Friday night happy hour menu for seafood. I've always had good customer service when I have been there and sat outside or inside. Oysters are fresh. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the beer menu is limited and could definitely use some more selection.

Never once a bad experience! Being a server at a restaurant I can appreciate a great dining experience, and I always recommend to my own customers. The service is exceptional, food is outstanding! The atmosphere is amazing AND the prices are reasonable! Found this place through Groupon initially and they have so many other ways you can save (In The Biz, Downtown Neighbor Association) very yummy drinks and insanely fresh fish! I SWEAR by their Scottish Salmon, and their raw bar is outstanding. Perfect date night spot and if you want to show off the best of Palm Beach to your friends or family from out of town.

You always remember your last bad meal: my lady friend and I went to eat on a Saturday because it was prime rib day. First off, the hostess had an attitude and was more worried about warding us away than seating us. But they did inform us of a backed up kitchen. Next, our food was mixed up when it came. Half on my plate, half on my woman's plate. Then the prime rib was ridiculously salty. As in, the Dead Sea isn't this salty! We could not eat them. The potatoes came out BLACK. not overcooked, but BLACK AND BURNT. we could not get water refills, and the manager who tried to fix things just couldn't understand that that was it. We were done and the food was more than disgusting. It's been progressively getting worse over the weeks and that was the last straw. We will not be going back which is a shame because the server staff was pretty cool. (Attitude wise). Fish and chips are fish nuggets at best, and small nuggets too. I used to rave about it, but no more. They actually worked to lose our business because we gave them chance after chance and was our favorite place in wpb. Good luck in the future.
As a regular, my opinion is sinking. The tasty appetizers are saving the place. Service has been inconsistent last few times, last night was the lowest, waiter's first day, didn't know anything about the menu or the business, how do they run out of, shrimp, pita chips and flat bread? I understand running out of fresh caught items but these items are not locally caught. Nobody buses tables leading to an unsightly stack of plates and glasses. Staff not aware that you can order drinks and food from place next door.

Have to start off by saying I've only been here for drinks and apps; so far so good! I love their calamari - SO good. I've had the lobster mac, too which is divine and kind of a big portion for such a rich dish. I've ordered some yummy beers and cocktails here. The bartenders are sweet and attentive. We'll be back and I definitely want to have dinner there sooner than later. Keep it up, Tyler!

Went to the opening block party and was blown away by how good the food was!! The Polynesian Beef Short smothered in a scallion and macadamia scented BBQ sauce was finger licking good. Really enjoyed the selection at the raw bar, oysters galore! Tried the jumbo lump crab cakes with a lemon aioli one part of the trio of crab cakes, cant wait to try the other two parts... The Tartar was to die for Lime, jicama, avocado YUMMY! I cannot wait to have a full sit down dinner at the adorable Longboards tomorrow night when they open for real!

We brought a party of 10 to Longboards for a fun VIP dinner that was supposed to be low key, and turned out perfectly. The waiter was great, the food was really good midscale bar food, and those few of us who had a drink or two were happy. The location is easy to get to on the upper end of Clematis, and the prices were reasonable. They didn't even stick you with the outrageous large party tip automatically included (I tipped the guy 20% anyway because he was awesome, but I hate having that gun put to my head for the ones that SUCK.) I would go back.

Really great food, you can tell the chefs/cooks loves food and they take a lot of care in preparing it. I ordered the lobster mac and cheese app, but for my main dish, which was the best I have ever had, really rich cheesy sauce, lots of juicy, perfectly prepared lobster, I couldn't have asked for a better dish. I also had a crab cake with it, which was also delicious, with a red pepper sauce that was just a perfect touch. My husband ordered a full order and a half of the amazing polynesian rib appetizer, it was a generous portion (he only finished the one order so we had some left over) and really good and tender. The menu is quite a bit different than on their website and on menupages, they could definitely use an update, but it was ok, we found lots of things to order. The servers were very smiling and friendly and attentive (a rare find in FL!), and a manager came by to ask how everything was. We waited a bit for our food, but it was definitely worth it and when food is cooked to order and comes hot I don't mind the wait! Everything we ordered was delicious, the atmosphere is perfect, and we can't wait to be back!

Decent place. Solid draft beers. Prices kinda steep for what I get. Fish tacos were tasty, but nothing to rave about. Also kinda puny amount of mahi. Truffle fries.......same thing all in all. So can't complain......can't rave. Is that the kiss I death. I hope not bc the surfer decor rocks.......so great place for beer and chilling!

Such a super friendly and attentive staff and I think everything would have been better if I had some drinks. I didn't, it was the middle of the day and I still had some 95 to drive. The food was good but like I said, probably better with some smile fuel. Nice menu with some ambitious combinations but what we got didn't have the flavor that was promised.

The only, and I mean only, reason this gets two stars is because I love the calamari and iced tea here. My coworkers and I make a habit of Longboards on Fridays. The service is usually a little slow but nothing terrible. Today was insufferable. It took over half an hour to get FISH that should take no longer than 10 minutes to cook. Our truffle fries had no truffle oil, my friend was charged for a refill on his soda (doesn't mention this on the menu) and they made a smart comment when my other friend asked for extra tartar sauce. Needless to say, we were over 20 minutes late back from our lunch and watched countless people who sat down after us walk out before we even finished our food. Terrible service. Will not return unless its carry out.

We had heard great things about this place, and I've heard meh things. That always makes me want try a place out. Upon arrival everyone was super nice, and that remained true the whole time. The decor is what you would expect from the name, wood and surfboards, and video rolling of many surf movies. That all in itself makes it cool, but the one thing about going on a surf trip is what? The dollar beers and the 3 dollar lobsters? Well, that and waves. But seriously, the decor just doesn't match the food or the price of the food. Wanted a ceviche. They were out(at 5pm), so the waitress said the tuna tartar was fantastic. My wife says okay. And bring a Half Rib order and the Trio of Cakes. Well, the tuna was blah, more like Jicama tartar, and for 14 bucks. Let down. The chips were great, but I'm not sure they made them. Trio of Cakes = PASS. Wont get this again. Again, 14 bucks for 3 golf ball sized wads of lobster, shrimp, and crab. Two were dry, and the one with the butter was way too butter driven and this kid loves him some butter. The Ribs!!!! I'd come back just for the ribs, and i don't eat meat. Only a few times a year. Seriously, I'd sit down with those ribs and a beer and go to town. Bravo. I normally hate beef ribs. So, for now, it is 2 stars. I'll go back, but i wont ever order or rec ordering the tuna or the trio. Hopefully my rating will change. And i'll have a signature drink. Mainly, I have a hard time getting over the theme and how it conflicts with the food and price thereof. --------------------- UPDATE 3.20.11 My wife returned last night and the trio of cakes was not even on the menu, the ceviche was in stock and was not fish but shrimp and lobster. she loved it, and some fall seasonal salad that she said was good as well. Fish tacos were also order, and given approval. HEr being a fish taco snob, i find that a good thing.

Stumbled across this place last night and couldn't have been happier, I went in for a beer and ended up staying for dinner. I started with the Stone Crab app which was very fresh and had a Key Lime dipping sauce instead of the usual mustard that you find elsewhere. it was delicious but needed to be used sparingly or it had a tendency to overpower the delicate crab. For a main course I went with the Pistachio encrusted scallops which were amazing. I wasn't really overwhelmed by the Bananas Foster split for desert however finding it a pretty run of the mill split despite the rather tempting description. I found the service to be very good and everyone to be quite friendly. I will most certainly be back!

Great local place. It would even better if it were closer to the water, but nonetheless it's a great beachy restaurant that is a Clematis favorite. The service is particularly wonderful. They are very friendly and jovial. The food is delicious. First, the pretzel rolls. OMG they are so amazing. I ordered more to take home they were so good. The crab cakes and the lobster tacos are really particularly wonderful. I highly suggest Longboards!

I'm a little surprised by how much I liked this place! Hubby and I decided to take a break from Sunfest and walk away from the masses a couple of blocks to enjoy a reasonably priced lunch. Longboards was a welcomed change to the thumping sounds and massive crowds at restaurants on Clematis that are much closer to Sunfest. The menu is large with a ton of seafood options that are within reasonable reach for an average pocketbook. I ordered the Veggie Tacos, and I must say that these carried unusual ingredients! First, any taco that is stuffed with cabbage (not lettuce) is almost always a WIN for me! Additionally, they added spinach, pico de gallo, avocado, peppers, onions, sour cream, and possibly mushrooms. I couldn't be sure about the mushrooms, but there was a mystery veggie in the mix! My husband enjoyed the Lobster Grilled Cheese sandwich, but really didn't enjoy the bread. The menu said it would be served on Ciabatta bread, but he's pretty sure it was just a thick white bread. He ate around the crust, and said he wouldn't order it again because of the bread even though the cheese was plentiful and the pieces of lobster were huge. We sat outside at a table off the sidewalk which was great for people watching. A musician played a variety of songs inside the restaurant, keeping the energy alive without being obnoxious. Good service, good food, and a casual vibe means we'll be back!

I'm sorry but this place is going downhill. The waiters and the staff is just so laid back that somebody needs to come in here and turn it around. I just thought I would give it another chance. Forget it.

This place is great! The atmosphere itself is very cool with surf and beach themed decor! Their seafood is the freshest you will have downtown. Their Scottish salmon is unbelievable. Their crab legs are delicious. Just about anything on the menu will bring you back in again and again. Not to mention the staff is friendly and attentive! I always bring friends from out of town here and they can't wait to come back and visit! Not to mention massive scorpion bowls perfect for sharing!

Went to this place on a whim last week and stumbled across happy hour. Great apps all at great prices & $1 oysters. We started with calamari which wasn't bad, no legs but it was a good breading. Went on to buffalo shrimp which were really good! I was only able to have 1 before my bf ate the rest! We then had the fish dip and the lobster roll; the fish dip was prob my favorite and was served with awesome chips, the lobster roll was soo good too but sad as it came as the tiniest roll I've ever seen. Drinks were meh and all the service was weird from the host to the server, no one spoke but rather whispered to you. Kinda difficult to hear when you're in a noisy restaurant. Maybe try sitting at the bar to avoid missing communication.

UGH. Sorry, but there it is. We either go out to eat or order in several times a week, so we definitely DO get around. We decided to try something new the other night and ordered from Longboards. Bad move. I'm going to say that I don't believe that the problem was in the "delivery" part of the equation, because I've gotten hot and delicious meals from that same delivery service dozens of times. No, the problem was in the preparation. We got the St Louis ribs, the conch fritters and the chicken wings as appetizers. The fritters and the wings were awfully greasy, the wings were covered with some nasty, tasteless breading. All three were WAY over salted or full of MSG, not sure which. Maybe both :shudder: The same was true of the Coney Island hot dog. The fries were limp and uninspired, and interestingly enough seemed to have NO salt on them. The cole slaw was just okay. What is up, Longboards, what's goin on here??!? The worst was the apple pie. Don't even contemplate it! The crust was thick, pasty and gummy. Downright chewy. Not a flake in sight. It was so gross I literally couldn't eat it, and I should be named Mikey because I'll eat ANYTHING!! I'd LOL but it wasn't funny, it was just a real disappointment. The worst part of all was how disgustingly bloated we were the next day from all the salt. I'm not even kidding. I've never written a bad review of a restaurant. For me, the scale typically goes from "like it" to "love it" to "I'm moving in and going to live in my favorite booth for the next ten years!" Sorry, Longboards, but you totally wiped out in my book.

It looks like the reviews for this place are very hit-or-miss, especially with service. I didn't let that deter me as I was in the mood for oysters and decided to give it a go. It's a very casual restaurant and the employees seem a bit casual (it is a surf-themed place, right?) so maybe that's were the bad reviews come from. I sat at the bar, so perhaps the service is a bit more attentive there, but my drink and food order were taken quickly and I was asked periodically if I needed anything and if I was finding everything ok. It was not charming service, but very adequate and nothing to complain about. Some people I guess like to make friends with their waitstaff, but I went very hungry ready to get my grub on not really trying to make any friends except with my meal. I took advantage of the happy hour specials: Half-price margarita, $6 ribs, and $1 oysters on the half shell. The ribs were amazing fall off the bone tender, and the oysters were an amazing deal. I'm salivating right now thinking about eating oysters. I'll be back for the oysters, maybe even today.

Absolutely have to eat here, their lobster mac n cheese is off the chain and their lobster tacos leave me craving them between visits. They always have fresh oysters and the staff is very knowledgable about where the food comes from and the flavor of the daily oysters. Don't get hooked on one fish or oyster tho because they only carry the freshest. Bar tenders are great and pour great drinks. Have been here with just the husband, as a family and with friends and it's always a great place with great food and great service.

After being seated by the hostess in the back of the restaurant all seemed to be going well. Suddenly I felt a cold rain inside the restaurant. The AC was LEAKING on me. Not only is this not sanitary, but the system runs above all the booths in the restaurant. Girlfriend and I shared the Coconut shrimp under the "Sharing" section of the menu. Would you consider 5 shrimp an appetizer worth sharing? Not to mention the steep price. As far as taste, the shrimp were heavy on the breading, with a long fry time. There was little coconut or shrimp flavor. Dipping sauce was a bit heavy on the vinegar for my taste. Decent, but would not return.

I work downtown so I have frequented longboards for lunch. But we took some family from out of town there the other night. I felt bad that we brought people there. Poor poor service. Our waiter was a dipstick. Didn't know shite about the menu, was inattentive and really should find a different job. He liked to dance in the back while shooting the breeze with other employees. The food was ok. My medium burger was well done to burnt. The calamari app was embarrassingly small in portion. Lobster mac was good. The brussel sprouts were good. Probably came from hullabaloo next door. Anyway, won't do anything more than brunch at longboards after this experience, assuming we can't get a table at hullabaloo.

Love, love, loved this place....that was until the other day when I heard they no longer serve their famous "truffle fries". What kind of shit is that?! Bring them back or I might not come back...and Iive across the street. Who's bright idea was it to remove popular items from the menu in leu of potato hash? I'm wondering what else has changed for the worse.

Went for lunch on a Saturday during bike ride. There are 6 tables outside which is nice for bikers. They serve complimentary filtered water. We ordered the breakfast flatbread. It had egg, cheese, bacon, and a sauce on top pizza dough. I would not call this a flatbread, since it was thick dough. The Polynesian Ribs come with 8 for $12 or 4 for $8. We shared the 8. They were kind of fatty but had a good sweet flavor and were topped with crunchy nuts. Service was friendly, but our food order took 15-20 minutes. Food was okay and I would probably not return when there are so many other options on the street.

I have serious mixed feelings about this place - the food was good, our server was great, but I ended up with a serious allergic reaction to something that kind of ruined the experience. On Sunday afternoon around 3, this place was in total limbo - brunchers were still lingering in the back, but the rest of the place was empty. We sat in a side booth, and enjoyed the surf-themed decor. The waiter was super quick, apologetic when he forgot part of our order, and thoroughly friendly. I had the mahi tacos, which I enjoyed until I felt a strange burning sensation in my head. Shortly after I was covered in hives, despite never having food allergies before. I know the restaurant is not really to blame, but perhaps a clearer list of what was in the tacos would have helped. (Although, maybe not). It seemed like we hit this place at an off-time, which was rewarded by speedy service, but it would probably be more fun at an on-peak time.

.One of the best on clematis. The servers are laid-back, but it is a surf themed restaurant, so that makes sense. The food is fantastic, never had a bad meal. The Polynesian ribs are a must try...and the raw bar is fantastic..

The non existing service made us walk out before everything else went down hill...if it was busy I could understand but it was dead ...maybe that's why ...I was not impressed by anything ...thanks but no thanks

The service at this place is abysmal. We were basically the only people there on a Wednesday night and it took over 30 minutes to even put a food order in. We ordered oysters as an appetizer and they came an hour later after our incredibly small lobster roll that we had unwisely decided to split due to the price. Lobster Mac and Cheese had no flavor. We had to physically get up and retrieve our waiter several times. We travel frequently to the area for work, we will not be back.

Stood around at the hostess stand for 5 minutes and no one ever came. The cooks saw us standing there and did nothing to alert the wait staff. Horrible service. We left before ever getting seated.

Good place for seafood, although some quirky issues. I'd like to give it 3.5 stars but will round-up because I believe it may get better. With the exception of the mistakes in preparation, all of the seafood I've received has been fresh and good quality. If you're in the immediate area, would like fresh seafood, and don't have special requests, I'd recommend trying. While the food is good, the service can be lacking, slow, and the prices are a bit high. Dining here is somewhat hit-or-miss and special requests are not often honored.

Food was good. Service was pretty bad! Waitress seemed like she was stoned or hung over from last night ....not good ...They were out of many many items in the menu. Some of the items were cold ....mashed potatoes were very cold .....cold coffee ...probably won't be back !!!!!

Tried this place out for lunch once and I was less than impressed. I've been trying out different downtown WPB restaurants in hopes of finding a good place I could keep coming back to. This one isn't it. I had the fresh catch of the day which didn't taste that fresh. Also, the menu (at least online) said it was served with two sides but once there I was told it only came with one side. By looking at the rest of the menu there seemed to be a lot of fried food options, not my kinda food.

The oysters and coconut shrimp were great. The lobster roll and mahi tacos were ok. Our Albanian server provided amazing service. The only issue is the leaking A/C contraption above me. I've read about this in previous reviews but took the risk hoping the odds wouldn't be against me. Try to sit somewhere in the center of the restaurant.

I like this place a lot, surf memorabilia, live music with slip and the spinouts, tasty clam chowder, pinball machine and the bartender makes a nice pina colada.

Only came for a couple beers during happy hour but the service was great and the ribs for real were like crack. I couldn't stop eating them. SO GOOD

We stopped in and sat at the bar for an early lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The place filled up fast around us so we got there just on time. Although I didn't try one, they make margaritas using fresh strawberries which the lady next to me ordered and it looked really yummy. I'll have to try one next time. They serve their drinks in mason jars, which I thought was charming. To start we split the conch fritters, they were very good, I've had them in other places and they were best here. Hubby had a lobster roll with the most delicious truffle fries I've tasted, and I had blackend mahi tacos, they were delicious. I'd love to go back and try other selections on the menu which is filled with seafood choices.

I'd give 3.5-4 stars based on two visits that were different in their own way. It's not cheap, so just because it looks like a fun casual shack, it's still on Clematis so it's going to be a little pricey. The first time, my grouper tacos were really average. Not a lot of fish, soggy tortilla and not much flavor. I was still hungry. My boyfriend liked his lobster roll a lot, but the fries were really old which was disappointing. We left thinking that the food was too average to come back, but then National Oyster Day rolled around and we were close by. So we returned for West Coast oysters and they were awesome, really good! I also tried the ahi tuna tacos and they were so much better. Much more flavor, lots of tuna and mango and veggies that worked well together. BF's island chicken wings had a great sauce but some of the wings themselves were just too big, not in a good way (chewy, not meaty). But his coconut shrimp were huge, crunchy, meaty with a yummy soy dipping sauce. On both visits, our servers were very friendly and the food was prompt, but it took both very long to greet us and our first drinks took a long time too. I'm not sure why, but after that initial slowness it resolved itself. We're planning on going back for the AYCE crab legs, and I'd absolutely order ahi tuna and oysters again, but I wouldn't try anything else now that I know what's good.

My last visit at Long Boards will definitely be my last. I had to update my 4 star review with one star due to horrible customer service. They do not like giving out the complimentary pretzel bread any more so they use the excuse that they have to bake it and then after you get your entree they ask if you still want it. Everything on the menu is not as priced and when you get your check and each dish is $2.00-$5.00 more they say it's because the side you ordered is more or the tomato on your burger is more or the fries are more. I have no problem paying the extra charge if it was explained up front. Servers and management and more involved with their cell phones and hanging out in the back of the restaurant then checking on tables. We had to send back an appetizer because the bread was stale and soggy with the fish dip and 20 minutes later we were still waiting for the replacement even though our entree was being served. I asked the manager on duty about all the up-charges and his response was" That's the way it is, we don't explain pricing" I even sent the company an email about how bad the service and food was and guess what...... After 3 weeks I never got a reply. It's sad when one of your favorite restaurants goes way down hill and they don't even care to fix it.

Great food in the Palm Beach area. This Saint Louis man loves seafood and this place delivered. One suggestion I can make...seriously take a thought about ordering their hot dog. No, I AM serious. This thing is OVER a foot charred to perfection. I will order it next time I'm in town. It looked amazing.

Oysters!!! This place is my go to! If you come during happy hour, they are around a 1 and some change. The ambiance and the seafood is amazing. The service could be better, but I keep coming to this place for the food and the happy hour oysters. Love the lobster tacos! The calamari has to much breading for my taste. I really want to get the lobster roll next time! Yum! Also do the dark and stormy for your drink! Check out the daily specials. I think on Sunday they do a surf and turf special. I brought my dad here for his birthday and he loved it! A great place to check out when your in west palm beach :)

Great food and great service! They have awesome fish bites on the kids menu as well as mini burger sliders. Their lobster grilled cheese is to die for paired with their vast craft beer selection! We finished it off with their triple chocolate brownie dessert...YUM!!!

I used to love this place but clearly it is going down the drain. The pasta was undercooked (not al dente) my salad had brown lettuce, the calamari was basically a plate full of chewy breading and to top it off, the service was the absolute worst. The hostess was extremely rude, kept rolling her eyes and gave us dirty looks when we asked for our server who disappeared for 20 minutes. I will never go back.

Disappointing... One of tonight's specials was crab-stuffed fluke fish. I know that not because our server told us, but because I looked at the board when we went in. I'm not familiar with fluke fish so I asked the server what it is. He said "well, it's kind of a long fish..." and got out his phone to look it up. Then he said, "no it's not the one I was thinking of, it's more like a flounder." I went ahead and ordered it. Longboards doesn't have salt and pepper on the table so I expected it to be well-seasoned. Sadly it was pretty bland., as was the cole slaw (except for the bitter chunk of cabbage core). My wife says the lobster mac and cheese didn't have much flavor either. Nice decor though, and if you're looking for a place to hang out and drink it's probably just fine. I wouldn't go there expecting a great dining experience though.

This is a great themed place, and awesome atmosphere. I gave it only 3 stars as they were out of everything we tried to order, very frustrating. It may have just been an off night. The Lobster Mac and Cheese is worth making a trip for. Very generous portions of lobster! The Lobster Bacon grilled cheese is ok, not what expected as there was no cheese on it.

We love this place! Here on vacation for 5 days and we went here 3/5 days. The first time for dinner, he had steak tacos, which were great, slightly crispy flour tortillas. I had the lobster roll, was hoping the lobster meat would would be warm but it was cold, straight from the fridge onto toasted bread with butter lettuce. Creamy mashed potatoes as a side, amazing!! Next day we came for happy hour, great calamari nice light breading and great buffalo dipping sauce. he loved the Buffalo shrimp, I didn't care for it, heavy breading but the fries that came with it were tasty! awesome ribs and we loved the fish bowl as our cocktail. great service, fast, incredibly friendly wait staff. we had the same waitress two nights, she was so sweet and really made sure we had exceptional service-ask for Sammy. Live music on Thursday nights. A must when visiting Clematis Street!

A nice Sunday brunch with some of my favorite ladies. If you feel like decking out without the sun and checking out surfboards on a wall, this is the place to be. I wasn't doing that because I was too busy enjoying the bottomless mimosas that I was consuming. The Challah French toast blended with vanilla almonds was awesome. Even everyone at the table had a bite and couldn't believe how good it was. Not a bite was left on the plate. A tip for brunchers: If you rsvp ahead of time, you'll get 10% off the bill from food. Our waitress was even nice enough to separate our tabs without asking and gave us all the discount.

Longboards = good food + great service. Took my wife to dinner at Longboards. It was our first visit. We were greeted with a smile, offered a menu and then after a brief wait we were seated. Our server promptly took our drink orders and gave us time to look at the menu. the lighting is dim and the menus are in black ink on dark brown paper. I had to use my cell phone light. Anyway, I order the sauteed snapper, mac and cheese and cauliflower au gratin. My wife ordered a fish sandwhich. Our food came out quickly and looked great! My wife really enjoyed the fish sandwhich. It was breaded with crispy panko bread crumbs and on a tasty brioche. She thought the menu had said "fries" were included, but she got house-made chips. Unfortunately, my snapper was the fishiest snapper I had ever had. It was cooked skin-on, so that may have been why. I just don't like it that way. When the server came around to check on us, I let her know that while I could eat the fish, it wasn't my favorite. She was nice, said, "I'm sorry" and "let me have the manager speak to you." The manger was there in like 10 seconds and asked about the fish saying she understood it wasn't to my liking. I explained and she said "Can we bring you another kind of fish?" She recommended the swordfish and I requested it blackened. The swordfish was fantastic! The manager and the server seemed genuinely happy that I was happy. Thanks ladies! We enjoyed the whole meal after that and even though the place is noisy and dim (gosh, I sound OLD!) we WILL BE BACK!

In Palm Beach on a business trip, found a Groupon and came here. Great find! Managed to hit happy hour, the wings were great. Had the blackened Mahi tacos and they were awesome. Try the bacon-bourbon brussel sprouts. Staff was busy but very friendly, price was reasonable -- especially for West Palm Beach.

The upside - the staff was pleasant? The downside - extremely slow. Actually we saw other tables who came in after us being served. Some left long before us. Ceviche was more of a cold soup and it was hard to find the fish. Oysters were good? Chicken tacos were cold and uninspired. The hot dog was extremely large but also quite salty, and the cheese sauce was floury and probably would have done better on Mac and cheese. Not to mention a very burned bun. The staff was quite nice and apologetic about it all and took 50 per cent off drinks and 25 per cent of the food, but honestly apologies don't cut Something quite this bad. Not sure the future on this one.

This place used to be great - deliciously cooked fresh fish prepared with some amazing sides on an ever changing menu. Now the menu is plastic coated and they dont even have everything offered on it. Less than stellar service did not help my overcooked, oversalted wahoo. Sad to say that I won't be coming back.

Out of all the places we visited on vacation this was by far my favorite. It's a super great place with excellent food and service. Mandy was our server, very nice & helpful. My husband had the LongBoard nacho's and added blackend Mahi Mahi to it...that was AMAZING!!! I had the Lobster Club. Whole pieces and large chunks of lobster...simply amazing. We didn't get to order any drinks since we still had to travel that day (we were leaving at the end of vacation) but both my hubby and I mentioned that this would defintely be some place we'd like to visit in the evening for Happy Hour. Great location in the Clematis area. Will defintely be coming back!

Went here based on the good reviews from Yelp. Had a party of 5, three adults and two kids (7 and 4). Walked in with no wait on a Sunday evening at 6:30, plenty of tables open in the restaurant, however no tables were open in front (outside), but that was actually ok since apparenty there were quite a few smokers. The inside is mostly open to the outside so it was just fine by me. Took about 8 mins to be greeted, which in my book is too long. The service was just slow, don't know how else to describe it. Everything seemed to take about twice as long as it should. Nothing was wrong or was missed, it just took a while to get served. I guess my solution to that is don't come hungry or thirsty and it will be a five star experience. Food: Had the lobster sliders and they were wonderful. Would never have ordered them without the yelp recommendations, but sure glad we did. No kid menu, which was a bum. My son had a $7 hotdog, daughter had the $8 rib app, which was a bit on the fatty side but both kids enjoyed their dinner. Adults had the tuna salad, the blacken fish of the day sandwich with chips, and the flatbread special. All good and reasonably priced. All in all, I would not come back as there are much better restaurants to experience and explore.

Good food. Amazing service. Waiter and management really cared about our experience. Some unique selections like bacon bourbon brussel sprouts. Definitely go with fish rather than chicken. Fish is fresh and local. Amazing key lime pie!

Always an enjoyable experience. I like to sit at the bar with Scotty & JP. The food is DELISH. Tonight I had a caesar salad and 4 oysters that were fried in a corn meal batter wrapped in duck prosciutto served a top mash potatoes. Everything Ive ever had ther was great! Durring the fall they had a dijon chicken with pumpkin ravioli that was out of this world. That same night I had a squash soup. I know the squash soup is seasonal but I think I could easily order it year long :)

Came into the bar for some appetizers. The beef rib app was awesome but our other appetizers, the ceviche and prosciutto wrapped oysters, were super salty almost inedible. I love seafood and the atmosphere so we'll give it another chance.

The reviews on yelp were right on the money. Food was great, the staff was really friendly and the food was great! We went twice and had beer, chicken pollard seafood pasta and steamed clams. Everything was great. We'd go back again.

I really like this place. A nice alternative to the typical seafood restaurant and leagues above the popular seafood chain (read: Red Lobster). The oyster bisque is spot on. The lobster roll and seafood pasta are well worth the trip.

i was in WPB this weekend to play a show at respectable street. as we were loading our equipment in the wind started picking up and just as the last piece of gear was loaded the skies opened up. more concerned with staying dry than quality of food we picked longboards because we figured we could make it across the street without getting soaked. now, most of the time when i make random meal decisions like this I'm mentally prepared for a mediocre/applebee's type meal. "i just need to eat, it doesn't have to be good" is my attitude. boy was i surprised with longboard's im not a seafood guy, so that immediately limited my options. and not wanting to drop $25 on a steak since i knew i was more or less going to inhale my food i went with the chicken sandwich. the chicken was cooked perfectly, the bread was this amazing sticky/sugary thing and the pineapple and onion relish on it made it extra good. my friends had fish tacos and ceviche tacos and they were equally impressed. the beer selection was pretty darn great too--especially considering what a NE beer snob I've become. and alicia, our server, was also super nice and friendly! if the road brings me back to the area id be glad to eat there again!!

Not worth the Groupon saving to try this restaurant! First, we were given 4 dirty bread plates that had to be replaced. Then, the crab cakes appetizer had a long hair in it. In addition, the lemon wedge that was served with it still had the Sunkist sticker attached to it. I'm sure it wasn't washed. The salad looked as if it had been sitting around...didn't brother eating it. .The clam chowder was spoiled!! It had gone completely sour!!! This was a first time experience getting spoiled food! After being served two dishes that had to be returned to the kitchen; I was ready to leave but my kids were starving! Fortunately, the rest of the meal was edible but not good. During our meal, all I could think about was "I hope we don't get food poisoning". the manager did come by to apologize but did nothing to improve our experience. This restaurant has serious quality and cleanliness issues. I would never recommend this place!! BTW, There's also no kids menu.

Good happy hour. GREAT Seafood pasta; amazing. Their salads are very well done, too. The service is slow, no matter WHO YOU GET. You will ALWAYS wait to be seated, even though they are empty. You will ALWAYS wait to be helped, even though you are the only customers in the restaurant. Longboards likes to have their employees congregate in groups while their customers wait to be helped. If their food wasn't so good and unique, we wouldn't return.

Well... We'd definitely give it another try based on the food. Had some issues w the service on our first visit, and got the feeling that others around us were having the same problem. Never got our apps or salad- would have loved to have tried the lobster sliders! The manager seemed to notice the service issues but never approached the table, which was probably the most disappointing part of the experience. When our entrees arrived they were very good. Overall the experience wasn't great, but will give it a second try based on the quality of food and atmosphere.

Went there last weekend with a buddy and had a great dinner. Started off with the fish chowder which was excellent with alot of fish and flavor (and a bit spicy the way I like it.) My friend had the Mac & Cheese with bacon that was was outstanding. It was real back bacon and really had a nice smokey, bacony flavor. For dinner I had a fish sandwich was was a huge piece of blacked mahi on a nice bun with homemade chips. The side of slaw was very small and average, but the sandwich was top-notch. The grilled chicken sandwich my friend had I didnt try but he said it was very good. Service was excellent. Our waitress Amanda, knew the menu well and was very helpful. Will return again real soon to try the raw bar and some of the wings I sampled during their block party which were very good.

We had drinks and small plates at this new bar on the west end of Clematis street. The decor is all surfer, the bar is shaped like a surf board, the back couryard has a surf board mural and sand, there are surf boards hung around the establishment. They have a great 2 for 1 happy hour from 5 - 7. I found the beer menu a bit lacking for my tastes because I prefer very light beer. But this menu had more craft type beers. Drinks were well made and my husband was happy that they had Tito's Vodka. We had lobster sliders which were delish, also had calamari (found that a little rubbery), and the trio of cakes, lobster, crab and salmon, all yummy. We plan to go back to try it out for dinner. Staff was friendly.

I go to this place every couples months, I'm always hopeful it will be better the next time around, but I am always disappointed. The food is great but it always takes foreverrrrrrrr. It's never been busy when I've gone and I don't understand why it takes so long. A burger doesn't take 45+ minutes at a restaurant filled with 10-15 people. You'd think you'd have a super accommodating waiter/waitress since they aren't that busy, nope, not at all. Seriously you're not impressing anyone by not writing down your tables order, the last time my girlfriend and I went the waitress totally messed up both orders. Write it down! After the food runner dropped off the food I had to get up and hunt down our waitress to ask for food that we ordered, which obviously she forgot about. Probably because she didn't right it down. Okay enough with the ranting and raving. Overall great food, but the service makes this place not worth going too. Try Hullabaloo next door!!

Short review: good food with interesting, creative items on the menu. would go again. Atmosphere: great! lots of fun surfing paraphernalia all over, a few TV's around the bar area, outdoor seating. Happy hr from 4-7pm, drinks are 2 for 1. Service: Pretty good. Wasn't all that crowded when we went. We weren't ever really waiting for our food and drinks, they came out at a good pace. Their bathroom was really clean (I think that's impt!!) Long review: We ordered a half rack of Polynesian ribs and a bowl of the chili (special item) to start. The chili was kind of an afterthought, wasn't planning on it, but I do love me some chili and it was on their specials and I couldn't pass it up. It was really, really good. A little soupy, but in a really good way. The ribs were excellent. The meat fell off the bones and was really tender. The ribs were appropriately smothered in a sweet and tangy sauce, and must have been grilled once again with the sauce on it, because it also had a nice char to it in certain places. Yum. all of this was topped with chopped peanuts and scallions. I think the half rack came with approx 7 baby back ribs. There were a bunch of items on the menu that were enticing (such as lobster sliders), but I'm SUCH a sucker for a whole unadulterated lobster. Pretty much if they have it, I have to eat it. And they had lobster. So, for the entree, we had the clam bake for 2 ($38). It came with lobster (1 1/4 lb) clams, shrimp, corn on the cob and steamed red potatoes. The whole shabang came in a big metal bucket. Cute. Everything was really good except for the steamed potatoes. They just did nothing for me. They weren't seasoned and they were lukewarm at best. Don't get me wrong, I do quite enjoy a simple hot steamed potato with a little salt once in a while, but they *have* to be hot. Otherwise, they're well, they're a little pathetic. And these were a little pathetic. But whatever, we tried them, decided they weren't worth eating and so didn't eat them. but the rest of the food was delish. The lobster was small but good. The shrimps were plump and juicy. The clams were not spectacular, but they were good. The corn on the cob was actually surprisingly delicious. They were really flavorful- sweetness of the corn with a nice smoky taste from the grilling I guess. It was a pleasant surprise. we had a groupon for $40 for this place. so for all that and 2 maragaritas, we ended up paying about $30, including tip. not too bad. not anything to rave about, but not too bad. bottom line, I'd go again because they had a bunch of things on the menu that sounded interesting, but would not be so willing to go without another coupon.

Had a Groupon that my wife and I finally used on Sunday. Had the lobster mac and cheese appetizer, crab cake dinner and the lobster roll. The lobster mac and lobster roll were phenomenal. The crab cakes were O.K., not great, not bad. The homemade potato chips were great, as were the truffle fries. Not cheap, but the lobster dishes are worth the money.

They say a restaurant is as good as it's last meal. The first time we were there the food portions were very small. The service was real bad (and it was not crowded). Short on veggies...ran out of string beans. They were out of light beer. Very bad experience. We will not go back or recommend LB's. One and done.

I went here with a few people after a long day of working outside, and I really liked it. We had been walking around all day, so the mason jars of ice water were the greatest thing ever. The waitress was very friendly and talked to us a bit about Game of Thrones, and she attempted to memorize everything in our order. She did a pretty good job, but she did forget my Magic Hat #9, which was OK because it was late at night and I was on the fence about getting it anyway. If you get a waitress here who doesn't write anything down, though, you should make sure that she actually brings you everything in your order. I had a medium-rare burger, and the people with me had the fish tacos, lobster tacos, and some kind of seafood salad. Everybody agreed that the food was amazing. We were sitting at a booth, but even so we were mesmerized by the surfing movies on the TVs, and we all really enjoyed the surfer theme. It looks like there were lots of very cool regulars here, and some very overdressed-up type people (well, it is West Palm Beach!). I really liked this place and I'm going to try to go back here any chance I get.

Went here for lunch. Food is always good and service from waitress was good as well. However, there was an issue with getting our food. There were not many tables filled for lunch and we ordered our food about 12:10 to 12:15. It did not get to the table until 12:45. We could see it under the warming lamps and our server had previously told us it was coming right out. She needed help bringing the order to the table. Instead, she got another rounds of drinks while our food sat under the lamp and our lunch hour whittled away. We spoke up and asked that the food come right away as we were on a time constraint and also asked to speak to the manager. Waitress was very apologetic but manager never came over to table despite the waitress telling us twice that she would be over. A huge disconnect with the kitchen and getting the food out to the tables. No wonder there were not very many tables filled at lunch. I have eaten here previously for dinner and again enjoyed the food but they really need to get it together for the lunch crowd. Don't go if you are in a rush!

Decent little bar that opens up on to the sidewalk out front. We ordered food as well, fish tacos, they were good. They had red stripe beer on special, but overall their drink prices were a little high. It was anywhere from $10-15 for a mixed specialty drink and beer was around $5 I believe. Our waitress was terrible. She hounded us for our orders and then once the food arrived, she was no where to be found. We waited for half an hour after we finished eating for her to acknowledge us and bring the bill. And they weren't that busy.

I've been there several times and each time it's really been a hit or miss with the food. The 1st time, I ordered the lobster mac & cheese and it really tasted good. The 2nd time, I decided to try the flatbread appetizer and was very disappointed. The sauce almost tasted like ketchup. As far as the atmosphere though - love the surf movies being shown and the boards displayed overhead. Service again is up and down. Last Friday our server was great. She was prompt and efficient. The bartender however was so busy talking with others that by the time we got served, we missed the happy hour special! I will visit again but this time I will make sure to order from the drink menu well before HH ends.

Lobster Sliders good, but not great. Oysters got nods of approval from others at the table. Fresh market fish was great, as well as cauliflower au gratin. The bacon and bourbon brussel sprouts were lacking the flavor you might expect. 3.50 tall boys of PBR, just missing the brown bag. All in all a good find in west palm.

Stopped by for brunch. Oysters perfectly shucked. Oyster soup and mac and cheese were great. Bartender was very nice.

Loved the Polynesian Beef Ribs. Also, the Brined Turkey club was a pleasant surprise for lunch, plenty of flavor with the avocado-potato chips were not as fresh as they could have been. Also, went for dinner one night and the Smores desert was so much fun and tasty - they actually give you marshmallows, chocolate, graham crackers and fruit in a tray with a small flame in the middle for toasting (kids and dates will love it). I look forward to more innovative food coming out of here!

A cool place to hang out and have a beer. The food was okay and the service was good.

Awesome!!!! I ordered the trio of cakes. 3 mini cakes filled with deliciousness . Each cake has its own identity... shrimp, crab and lobster. In addition to great food LongBoards also makes fabulous cocktails. They use fresh juice which in my book is top notch!!! Outdoor seating makes it nice to people watch. Super friendly staff. Great addition to Clematis!

A very lax and chill place from what you would come to expect from a restaurant themed after surfing. Everyone I know likes the food, I've only had the lobster Mac & Cheese, and I can honestly say; it's probably one of the best tasting dishes I've ever had in my life from anywhere! Lobster tastes the same everywhere, but the shell pasta here would seriously give any entree at the finest Italian eateries a run for their money.

very nice pleasant open door type restaurant staff are hardworking, clean, food is very good, had the ribeye, wife had the lobster, then topped it off with key lime pie, that was the best, made there. price was not bad for the area.,

Very noisy...so we ate out on the sidewalk tables. It took 20 min. until our server came over to take our drink orders. Say all that...the food was very good. And our server Kerry was a delight and made the dinner a success. But they need to tighten up on the management of the service.

Went here for Brunch. First, we ordered Lobster eggs benedict and after waiting for 20 minutes were told that the cook couldnt keep the hollandaise together so benedict was now off the menu!!! So then my friend ordered fried eggs over medium. They were delivered cooked hard and the bacon raw! They took it back and re-delivered the eggs cooked hard again and bacon burnt! Meanwhile, the restaurant filled with smoke from the kitchen! Terrible food, cooked by amateurs!

Overpriced and openly poor staff. Went for an evening dinner with friends. Had the worst waiter in decades. Had to ask about the special. Had to repeatedly wait on drinks. Had to clear our own plates just to get elbow room. Multiple times. Food was served cold. ( kitchen was kind enough to microwave it,) Could never find the guy... Till we had to Food was ... Ummm... Interesting. Crab and spinach dip. You tasted the flour. I guess I should be happy that they tried to make a Rue... Small portions. Maximum price. Minimal care.. Awfull service. Definitely not returning.

(4)Edwin C.

Shrimp and grits and lobster eggs Benedict with a $3.50 bloody Mary. Great Sunday brunch.

(4)Sam W.
(4)Nick S.
(4)Jarrod D.
Had a great time here for Sunday Brunch. The Server was friendly and very accommodating. Food was excellent and the all you can drink Bellini's a great deal. Staff is very professional and went out of their way to help. I'll be back
(5)Julia A.
(4)Arianna N Shaffer S.
(3)Kathleen S.
Brunch on Sundays is amazing. Our friend got the unlimited mimosas and he loved them. I got the French toast and everyone on the table loved it. We will definitely come back for brunch again. :)
(4)Johann B.
(3)James H.
Worst experience I have had in a long time. Drinks we're terrible, food was forgotten and (I timed it) it took one hour and one minute to get WATER. It only took 5 times asking. Food was a 6/10 but service was absolutely absurd. Not coming back and suggest you steer clear.
(1)Harvey D.
(3)Lisa M.
(4)Jennifer S.
(5)Kristen D.
The food here is always good & fresh. I love how creative all the menu items are! And the service is the best. Our server tonight was Jessica, best waitress ever.
(5)Liz A.
Woohoo! Snowcrabs and all is so good!!!!!! I love this place :)
(5)Hugo B.
(2)Ed C.
(5)Deborah R.
(4)Kerry K.
First and last time. Took forever, small fish portions on tacos and then tried to charge us for bloody Mary's that we sent back. Manager never once came over to accommodate.
(1)M S.
Excellent Friday night happy hour menu for seafood. I've always had good customer service when I have been there and sat outside or inside. Oysters are fresh. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the beer menu is limited and could definitely use some more selection.
(4)Briana D.
(5)Scott B.
Best happy hour downtown I love the atmosphere and I love Maine lobster one of my favorite hangouts
(5)M L.
(2)Beth M.
I can't rave enough about LongBoards! We stumbled upon this place through Groupon or Living Social a few months back and can't let a month go by without going back.... It's just too awesome to resist. The décor is all surfer themed, but done in a classier way. The bar itself is a long gorgeous piece of wood shaped like a surfboard. Whenever we go, we pretty have the same routine of grabbing a seat at the bar. The bartenders are always super cool, friendly, and offer great service. The atmosphere goes perfect with the fresh seafood menu. Everything I've ordered there has been incredible! The last thing I ordered was a lobster roll and my mouth is watering as I write about it now. They have a bunch of raw bar offerings too, which are unbelievable! I wouldn't even be able to pick my favorite since their entire menu is right on! Beth's Tip: Always check their special's board first!!
(5)Jeff B.
(2)Desi O.
(4)Jennifer F.
(5)Brian R.
(4)Chantel G.
(5)Addison M.
Overall a pleasant dining experience! Great ambiance, good location and decent beer selection. The food was above average. I will definitely return.
(4)Phil M.
(3)Jimmy S.
Great French Toast and Burgers. We went for brunch and had a blast. Good atmosphere for a lazy Sunday lunch.
(4)William R.
(3)Samantha d.
(2)Matt F.
Good service! Great Crab Cakes! Great happy hour prices and appetizer selection. Check it out
(4)U H.
(3)Roger C.
Very cool place. The bartender, Chris, was funny and fast. The atmosphere was really cool and TUESDAY ALL YOU CAN EAT CRABS are AWESOME
(5)Phil B.
(4)Sarah R.
(5)Kerry B.
Pretty poor service, drink specials looked interesting, went for happy hour not a bad deal apps for $5. The lobster sliders were good but a little pricey....
(2)Liz M.
This place was great! Our waitress was super friendly and nice, and I recommend the crab cakes with bacon brussel sprouts....super tasty!! And the crab legs we're awesome and very well priced.
(4)Tara J.
(4)Christina A.
I go here every once and a bit and get the calamari it is always good here. Last time I ordered the lobster grilled cheese and brussel sprouts, I highly recommend both, very good.
(4)Kim F.
I'm sorry but this place is going downhill. The waiters and the staff is just so laid back that somebody needs to come in here and turn it around. I just thought I would give it another chance. Forget it.
(1)Briana D.

Longboards is a great spot to stop by for a drink or to grab some food. Adorable surfboard bar with great beer on tap, very friendly staff and absolutely delicious food!
(5)Pekka J.
Really amazing food and great service. We ate dinner here with my wife and we're really pleased by the food quality and the whole experience. Interiors are designed like a surf bar and the atmosphere is relaxed.

The service was great, the music was on point, and though I didn't eat the food looked first star!! I had an amazing time!! The locals were great too! Overall great vibe!!

(4)Danielle M.
(5)Matt L.

(2)Damien K.

(2)Amanda M.
(3)J F.
.One of the best on clematis. The servers are laid-back, but it is a surf themed restaurant, so that makes sense. The food is fantastic, never had a bad meal. The Polynesian ribs are a must try...and the raw bar is fantastic..
(5)Rex N.
Well... Food is excellent, but waiting for it upset my hungry wife. It takes forever!
(3)Dorne B.
The non existing service made us walk out before everything else went down hill...if it was busy I could understand but it was dead ...maybe that's why ...I was not impressed by anything ...thanks but no thanks
(1)Stefanie L.
(1)Betsey L.
Stood around at the hostess stand for 5 minutes and no one ever came. The cooks saw us standing there and did nothing to alert the wait staff. Horrible service. We left before ever getting seated.
(1)Rusten M.
(4)Kimberly A.
Food was good. Service was pretty bad! Waitress seemed like she was stoned or hung over from last night ....not good ...They were out of many many items in the menu. Some of the items were cold ....mashed potatoes were very cold .....cold coffee ...probably won't be back !!!!!
(3)Carla D.
(2)Dee S.
(3)Lori O.
I like this place a lot, surf memorabilia, live music with slip and the spinouts, tasty clam chowder, pinball machine and the bartender makes a nice pina colada.
(4)Rebecca S.
Only came for a couple beers during happy hour but the service was great and the ribs for real were like crack. I couldn't stop eating them. SO GOOD
(5)Anna L.
(4)Cristina L.

(4)Ashley O.
(4)Alicia F.
Great food and great service! They have awesome fish bites on the kids menu as well as mini burger sliders. Their lobster grilled cheese is to die for paired with their vast craft beer selection! We finished it off with their triple chocolate brownie dessert...YUM!!!
(5)Christina C.
Service was awesome, as was the food. The ghirardelli double chocolate brownie vanilla sundae is soooo good!
(5)Nicole V.
(1)Exodus B.
Excellent food and customer service. Nice atmosphere fun as well.
(4)Barb S.
(2)Travis P.
(3)Briana V.
(5)Patty W.
(3)Jeri E.
Glad we found this place. Very casual atmosphere with great food and service. We went during half price appetizers and sampled a variety of options which all were good. Love supporting local, non chain restaurants!
(5)Ben S.
(4)Dan H.
(5)Cindi W.
(2)Zib B.
(2)Carrissa R.
No complaints about the food and its a nice place to people watch on the 500 block. They always have a drink special too.
(4)Holly P.
Really great. Have the hog fish ceviche, amazing!
(4)Michelle M.
(5)Regan K.
What a find! Truly surprised by how good our meal was. Had the lobster sliders, seafood pasta and lobster tacos. My husband was jealous of my pasta- totally delish! We had great service too. If we lived in town we would be regulars for sure!
(5)Susie S.
Great interior. Fantastic staff. Amazing food. Could not have asked for anything better. The fish tacos were the best I've ever tasted and the lobster sliders were almost perfect. Highly recommend for a nice, quiet, delicious meal.
(5)Hope Y.
This place is great! The service is fast and friendly, and the atmosphere is very chill. I would highly recommend the baby back rib appetizer and the Mahi Mahi. The food tastes great and prices are very reasonable. I will be returning in the future

(3)Zoe P.
Good food. Amazing service. Waiter and management really cared about our experience. Some unique selections like bacon bourbon brussel sprouts. Definitely go with fish rather than chicken. Fish is fresh and local. Amazing key lime pie!
(4)Josie W.
(5)Lauren P.
Came into the bar for some appetizers. The beef rib app was awesome but our other appetizers, the ceviche and prosciutto wrapped oysters, were super salty almost inedible. I love seafood and the atmosphere so we'll give it another chance.
(2)Tom F.
The reviews on yelp were right on the money. Food was great, the staff was really friendly and the food was great! We went twice and had beer, chicken pollard seafood pasta and steamed clams. Everything was great. We'd go back again.
(5)Tiffany B.
The Mahi was ok. With a little more seasoning it would have been great! The asparagus was DELICIOUS!!! best I've ever had. Service was good too.
(3)Ken W.
We were there at 2:00 on a Wednesday afternoon so you can guess we had the whole place to ourselves. That didn't keep us from enjoying really good food and perfectly chilled draught beer.
(4)Scott L.
I really like this place. A nice alternative to the typical seafood restaurant and leagues above the popular seafood chain (read: Red Lobster). The oyster bisque is spot on. The lobster roll and seafood pasta are well worth the trip.
(4)Todd E.
i was in WPB this weekend to play a show at respectable street. as we were loading our equipment in the wind started picking up and just as the last piece of gear was loaded the skies opened up. more concerned with staying dry than quality of food we picked longboards because we figured we could make it across the street without getting soaked. now, most of the time when i make random meal decisions like this I'm mentally prepared for a mediocre/applebee's type meal.
(4)R L.
(1)Miss E S.
(4)Kenjandtomeatout E.
(3)Emily G.
A little overpriced and bland but very friendly, helpful staff.
(3)Greg P.
(4)Sam S.
(4)Ryan D.

Best seafood and raw bar in West Palm Beach. If you are not into seafood they have the best burger and hot dog in town too. Definitely recommend this place!!! Great atmosphere and staff.
